This summer, Yaal Coop and IndieHosters received a new grant from the NLnet foundation for the SCIM Python Framework and Integrations project. It follows the IndieHosters grant on SCIM integrations. The plan:
- improvements to the python-scim libraries;
- integrations for Flask, FastAPI and Django;
- a standalone service that runs next to the Matrix Synapse server, and translates SCIM requests into Matrix API calls. It is an alternative to a direct integration in Synapse, since our PR was rejected;
- SCIM support in several La Suite numérique tools: Meet, Drive and Docs. This work will build on the python-scim libraries and the Django integration, for use in LaSuite.coop.
